The tide rises to all boats, and between Netflix with drive to surviveHBO Max with The last Danceand Amazon with All or nothingthere has never been a better time to be a fan of sports documentaries.
Which streaming service takes the lead with their documentaries is entirely subjective, but one thing is for sure, the ongoing competition between streamers has seen the benefit of production companies stepping up their game tenfold.

Since stepping down from their royal duties and moving to the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, have signed a huge deal with Netflix. The first title coming to Netflix from the deal is an in-depth look at the Invictus Games, the equivalent of the Paralympics for wounded former members of the armed forces, which Harry served as founder in 2014.
The 2022 Invictus Games will take place in the Netherlands and will be the first games the couple attends since he left the royal family. A documentary team will cover this year’s games and will also follow Harry and Meghan throughout the event.

One of the best sports docuseries available on any streaming platform anywhere, drive to survive It has been the top docuseries of one of the most important sports in the world, Formula One.
Through behind-the-scenes interviews, pilots, team-specific episodes, and never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage, drive to survive it adds an extremely entertaining layer of drama that you won’t see on race weekends.
We still don’t know what awaits us in Season 5, but a resurgent Ferrari team and a struggling Red Bull will be a fantastic sight.
